Randall Smith Obituary

"REFLECTIONS"

"One thing I have desired of the Lord that will I seek after, that I may Dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the Beauty of the Lord, and enquire in his temple." Psalm 27:4

Our   beloved,  Randall M. Smith, "Peanuts" was  born  October  31, 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Ella Harris Ford. Due  to the death of his mother, Rand all was raised  in four different foster homes from the age of two up until the age of ten. His oldest sister Rachael Robinson became his care provider until he completed high school.

He was educated in the public schools in Cleveland, Ohio. He  accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Shiloh Baptist Church, Cleveland, Ohio by the late Reverend Dr. Alfred M. Waller, Sr. In June 1968 Randall immersed himself in the  Christian  community under  the pastoral ship of Rev. George O. Stewart, Zion Chapel Baptist Church, Cleveland, Ohio.

On March 30, 2021, he quietly left this life of labor  to be with the Lord. Linda Jackson, his wife. Family siblings who preceded him in death, one sister Rachael M. Smith and brother Roderick M . Smith .

Randall truly had love for his family. He was a die-hard Sports fanatic, especially when  it  came  to  the  Cleveland   Browns  Football,  Cleveland Indians Baseball and Cleveland Cavaliers Basketball.

An avid reader of books, he was known as  a  book worm. He  enjoyed looking at movies, listening to music and his favorite TV shows. Randall loved sharing  and helping people when ever he could.   Randall could be very outspoken when needed to be.  In his own way he had a warm gentle spirit along with his outrageous laugh and big smile.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two loving sisters, Ramona M. Johnston, Regina M.  Nicholson, Cordova, Tennessee  and his faithful brother  Ronald M. Smith (Betty) of Summerville, South Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

"May the Lord bless his soul as he rest eternally in peace".
